Temple Shalom Sisterhood is the women’s support arm of Temple Shalom.  We are proud to be one of the founding members in 1913 of the National Federation of Temple Sisterhoods, which became WRJ.

We hold educational and social meetings throughout the year and raise money directly returned to the Temple and Religious School, to send children of the congregation to Jewish summer camp, to support the national and international projects of WRJ and to support local charities that benefit women and children.

At Temple, we sponsor the Rosh Hashanah tea and meals of consolation, maintain the Floral Fund to enhance the bimah with fresh flowers, put out the New Year’s Greeting Book and maintain the Judaica Shop.
